Applying roll on perfume to wrist

Tips for making your perfume last longer 🥰

Making your perfume last all day can be a real struggle, but fear not! Here are 5 easy tips to make sure you smell fantastic all day long.

  1. Moisturise before you spray/roll/dab. Before you apply your perfume, make sure your skin is well-moisturised. Perfume tends to last longer on hydrated skin, so make sure to apply lotion or body oil before spraying. This will create a barrier on your skin and help lock in the fragrance.

  2. Apply perfume to pulse points. Your pulse points are areas of the body where your blood vessels are closest to the surface of your skin. These areas radiate heat, which helps to intensify the scent of your perfume. Apply your perfume to your wrists, neck, behind your ears, and the inside of your elbows to make your fragrance last longer.

  3. Layer your fragrance. One way to make your perfume last longer is to layer it. Start with a shower gel or body wash that is a similar scent to your perfume. Then, follow up with the matching lotion or body oil before applying your perfume. Layering your fragrance in this way will help lock in the scent and make it last longer.

  4. Don't rub your wrists together. Many people rub their wrists together after applying perfume, but this can actually make your fragrance disappear more quickly. The friction and heat created by rubbing your wrists together breaks down the fragrance and can make it evaporate more quickly. Instead, just let your perfume dry naturally on your skin.

  5. Store your perfume properly. Perfume is sensitive to light, heat, and humidity, so it's important to store it properly. Keep your perfume in it's box/bag in a cool, dark place away from direct sunlight and heat sources. This will help preserve the fragrance and make it last longer.

See? Easy! Moisturise, pulse points, layer, DON'T RUB, store away from heat. With these tips in mind, you'll be sure to smell fantastic all day long!

Stay scented, Shannan xx
